A CARVED SOAPSTONE FIGURE OF SEATED BUDAI AND STAND SIGNED ZIXIU, EARLY QING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY The stone is carved as a seated Budai, holding a scroll in his left hand while his right hand rests on his right knee, leaning against a finely incised brocade pouch.
