A CASED RARE ISP SPARTAN BOLT-ACTION ENGRAVED CUSTOM PNEUMATIC AIR-RIFLE, serial no. 004 085, circa 2008, with mirror-blued and tapering 25in. barrel engraved along the full length of the upper surface with bold acanthus scrolls by Don Blocksidge, twin gold bands at muzzle, blued bolt-action receiver with integral rail for a telescopic sight engraved with geometrics within a borderline panel, the left side of the receiver with a further panel of bold acanthus scrollwork, in the white highly polished turned down bolt-handle engraved with scrolls, figured walnut anatomical right hand half-stock chequered at the grip and fitted with a stippled rubber heel-pad, colour hardened trigger blade within a lacquered brass trigger-guard, brass-lined aperture for filling probe near fore-end tip (probe included) and barrel mounted eyelet for a bipod (absent), light marks only to wood otherwise appearing little used and complete in a fitted full-length Browning rifle case Provenance: Named for the founders, Ivor and Shaun Hill, ISP are builders of unique bespoke air-rifles and have been producing rifles since 1989 in Walsall, England. The Spartan Classic as represented here can be ordered to any number of customer preferences and every one is individual. Production time is measured in months, if not years in some cases but quality can never be rushed
