Provenance: The Maurice Gillett collection of microscopy, inventory refs. G3238 to G3242 inclusive and G3107. The firm Husbands is recorded in Banfield, Edwin BAROMETER MAKERS & RETAILERS as established by Henry Husbands in around 1840 and was located 8 Augustine’s Parade, Bristol until circa 1890.
