A cased set of eleven anatomical 'moveable' atlases with accompanying handbooks, late 19th Century BAILLÉRE, TINDALL, AND COX, 20, KING WILLIAM STREET STRAND, the eleven polychrome labelled pop-up anatomical cut-outs and original text by G.J. WITKOWSKI, M.D. contained in folios and with accompanying handbooks, series I-XI including: the human body (neck and trunk); voice, speech, and taste (throat and tongue); female organs of generation and reproduction ( no handbook ); mechanism of vision; mechanism of hearing and mastication; the structure and functions of the brain; male organs of generation and reproduction; the bones and ligaments; the hand; the foot; and the progress of gestation. In original black canvas-covered case 41 x 8.6 x 31.5cm. (16 1/8 x 3 3/8 x 12¼in.)
