Beschreibung:

A Catalogue of the well known and celebrated library of the late Ralph Willett [- A Catalogue of a very fine collection of Botanical Drawings] ...sold by auction, by Leigh and Sotheby, 2 parts in one, printed on thicker paper, prices and buyers' names supplied in a neat contemporary hand, ruled in inner margin, contemporary half calf, hinges cracked, worn at corner tips and spine ends, 8vo, 1813. *** According to Windle & Pippin this is the large paper copy of the sale catalogue, printed on thick paper. It is possible that Dibdin was involved in the cataloguing of the sale, he certainly offered to look over the proofs for the early printed books (letter to Leigh & Sotheby dated Nov.1, 1813, now at Harvard) and some of the notes look like his work.
