A Chinese bronze archaistic Hu-Vase 17th/18th Century with twin mythical beast head and loose-ring handles, supporting an upper band of archaic motifs, above a wide band of Taotie to the lower globular body -- 13in. (33cm.) high; and a Chinese square polished bronze Hu-vase relief decorated with further taotie within side flanges -- 10 1/8in. (26cm.) high, (wear). See Illustration . (2)
