A Cloisonné Enamel Vase 20th century, signed Ando sei and with the wire mark of Ando workshop The facetted double-gourd bottle designed in colored enamels and silver wire and wireless cloisonné with four floral panels on the facetted sides, the edges enamelled in midnight blue, the top half of the bottle decorated with four roundels of flying cranes in stylized clouds surrounded by smaller roundels of the Chinese characters fuku (grand future) and kotobuki (happiness), the bottle's narrow waist banded with foliate scroll above stiff lappets, the foot also with a lappet band and the mouth designed with a standing leaf band above a stylized srolling vine pattern; mounts silver; fitted wood stand 9 7/8in. (25.1cm.) high With a wood storage box inscribed on the cover Shippo hisagogata kotoki utsushi shikunshimon kabin and Ando shippo ten kinsei and sealed
