A Collection of Awards to the R.F.C. and R.A.F. formed by Wing Commander Bill Traynor Three: Senior Aircraftman C. Woodford, Royal Air Force Gulf 1990-91, 1 clasp, 16 Jan. to 28 Feb. 1991 (S.A.C. (E8255209), R.A.F.), in its named card box of issue; Saudi Arabia, Liberation of Kuwait 1991, in its case of issue; Kuwait, Liberation of Kuwait 1991, fourth grade, extremely fine (3) £200-250 Footnote Carl Woodford, who was born in February 1968, entered the Royal Air Force in July 1986. By trade a Mess Steward, he was advanced to Senior Aircraftman shortly afterwards, and served at Dhahran in the Gulf War prior to taking his discharge in July 1992; sold with a portrait photograph, Saudi Arabian medal certificate and assorted photocopies from his discharge papers, one of the latter stating that he served as a personal attendant to H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh during a royal visit to R.A.F. Finningley in August 1991.
