A COLLECTION OF EIGHT INDO-PERSIAN METALWORK VESSELS IRAN AND INDIA, 12TH-19TH CENTURY Comprising a Fars bowl, of typical form, the finely engraved decoration with a band of benedictory inscription in thuluth script over dense scrollwork interspersed with roundels with musicians (a harpist, two tambourine players, an oud player and a flautist), the interior engraved with a large pond full of fish, the underside engraved with a later owner's name reading "Amir Khan Baqqal", with remains of silver inlay ; a large Kashmiri enamelled tray, a Safavid or Qajar brass powder flask decorated with applied silver panels, a small Khorassan bronze tray, a circular bronze stamp with calligraphic decoration, a Kutahya pottery cup, an Indian tinned-copper vase and a Kashmiri tinned-copper box with calligraphic and floral decoration Kashmiri box 12 5/8in. (32cm.) diam. (8)
