A collection of five Marconi grams relating to the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic and the survivors Each Marconi Gram is laid down on a piece of rag paper (some back to back) with three small holes pierced on one end. Including No. 80: written on a standard Marconi form and stamped "Carpathia" from Collette (?) to Cook William Jewell College - Liberty Missouri with the message "Safe Carpathia/Collette"; No. 81:written on a part of a New York Harbor telegraph form and glued to a Marconi form - marked from Harriet to Crosby Transpotation Co. of Milwaukee, Wis. and with the message "Safe on Carpathia/Harriett"; No. 83:written on a standard Marconi form and stamped "Carpathia" to Migniard Newyork (sic) and with the message "Seward safe." (sender not identified); No. 83:written on part of a Western Union telegraph form and glued to a standard Marconi form and stamped "Carpathia" from Richard to Norris Williams, St, Martins Lane, Philadelphia and with the message "Father not seen no hope arrive Carpathia Wednesday New York Richard."; No. 177:written on a standard Marconi form and stamped "Carpathia", received by Carpathia and addressed to Miss E. W. Allen - Carpathia from Marill of St. Louis and with the message "Have wired belmont Reservation for you and to furnish any funds needed/Marill" 5½ x 8¾ in. (14 x 22.3 cm.) the original form with slight variations as noted above. 8¼ x 13¾ in. (21 x 35 cm.) the wove paper each is laid down on. (5)
