A COLLECTION OF FOUR POETRY ANTHOLOGIES ONE SIGNED (SULTAN) MAHMUD AL-KATIB, SAFAVID IRAN AND INDIA, 16TH-19TH CENTURY Comprising a copy of Rumi's Mathnavi signed Mahmud al-Katib and dated AH 954, each folio with 18ll. of black nasta'liq script arranged in four columns within gold and polychrome rules, with late 19th century added miniatures, in brown morocco, an incomplete 16th century Safavid Khamsa with Qajar miniatures, each folio with 17-18ll. of black nasta'liq script arranged in two columns, other text written diagonally around, titles in gold, in stamped brown morocco binding, a 16th century Safavid copy of Husayn al-Kashifi's Anwar-i suhayli signed Muhammad bin 'Abdullah with added Qajar miniatures, in embroidered cover binding and a 19th century Indian copy of Zahir Faryabi's Diwan , each folio with 12ll. of black nasta'liq script on pink paper arranged in two columns, in brown morocco binding signed Baha al-Din Peshawari Folio 9 5/8 x 7in.
