The Museum housed a fascinating private collection of artifacts discovered on the Thames foreshore in Rotherhithe along with an interesting collection of Peak Freans biscuit factory items which once existed locally in the area. The later collection also included a magnificent six foot iced replica of Queen Elizabeth II's wedding cake with a letter of thanks from Elizabeth II which was on permanent exhibit at The Pumphouse Museum.
