A collection of regional costume including a shirt of ivory linen, embroidered around the open neck in black and mauve silks with stylised flowers and beneath the opening dated "1867", an overskirt of dark blue cotton woven with rose pink silk stripes, the waist smocked and embroidered with flowers to either side, also initialled "MG ME 1851", with two other skirts similar dated 1856 and 1858, and a short jacket of black facecloth trimmed with appliqu black cut and uncut velvet ribbon, the lower arms embroidered in pink, green and blue silks with stylised flowers and diamonds, mid 19th century, probably Hungarian (a lot) See Colour Plate 3
