The engraved and silvered brass dial with silvered arched chapterring, signature scroll below XII signed Lourens Duchesne Amsterdam , to an enrgaved matted center with subsidiary seconds ring, alarm setting disc and sector for days of week and zodiac symbols, with silvered spandrels to the corners, surmounted by a painted and engraved silvered moonphase. The brass four pillar movement with Dutch strike on two bells and alarm mounted to the side; pendulum, two brass weights, winding key and doorkey 280 cm high
