housed within a custom built wall mounted display case formed from a fine pre-war Rolls Royce grille surmounted by an original Rolls Royce mascot, the grille display is housed with custom built mahogany shelves backed with light blue velvet, the back of the grille is covered in wood and velvet, displaying twelve superb examples of every type and size of the famous Rolls Royce 'Spirit of Ecstasy' pre-war mascot - from 1911-1938, each mascot has a silver presentation plaque describing each piece, an outstanding collection formed in the 80's,comprising Ghost, four types nickel bronze, including the three types of UK examples and the rarest USA Gorham Springfield c. 1911,-1926 both types of 20Hp solid nickel, c. 1929 early Phantom One, solid nickel, c. 1925 Phantom Two, c.1929. Phantom Three kneeling and standing, chrome on bronze, c.1936, 20/25Hp, chrome on bronze, c.1932 25/30Hp each mascot in excellent original condition, all signed with Charles Sykes signature and factory patent and registration numbers with condition relative to age, the case with red enamel RR badge intact, provision for wall mounting with brass brackets to rear of case.
