With 12¼ in. barrels in two stages separated by a moulding, the forward sections of 'hog's back' form with a ring at the muzzle, long integral tangs each engraved with overlapping stylised foliage and retained by two screws from beneath, the forward screw being an upward extension of the front of the trigger-guard, shaped locks cut with characteristic fan-shaped flutes on the bridles to the cocks and pans, the inner surface of the bottom jaws cut with a geometric design, the front of each steel struck with maker's punzón, one lock retaining its original embroidered finger pad, walnut full stocks encased in brass (minor replacement on one butt) pierced and engraved with interlaced foliated scrollwork bearing flower-heads between borders of solid brass engraved en suite on a chequered ground, iron spur trigger-guards, and original slender iron ramrods each with baluster tip (some minor surface pitting) (2) 16½ in.
