A FINE DOUCAI CONICAL 'DRAGON' BOWL YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE-CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735) The slightly rounded, conical sides are decorated to the exterior with two five-clawed dragons, one in green and the other in yellow tones, leaping amidst multi-coloured clouds and iron-red 'flaming pearls' above a band of foam-specked, wind-tossed waves in green enamels and underglaze-blue. The rim is moulded with six subtle notches beneath a narrow gilt band. 7 5/8 in. (19.3 cm.) diam.
