A FINE GEORGE III SILVER TEA EQUIPAGE LONDON, 1798, MAKER'S MARK OF JOHN EMES Comprising a pair of caddies and a sugar bowl and cover; each of oval form, bright-cut with a foliate ribbon and trellis and flowerwork borders, engraved front and back with a laurel wreath enclosing the initial R , the domed covers with similar bands and hinged ring finial, the sugar bowl also with overhead swing handle; in fitted satinwood chest of rectangular form, the silver furniture with similar engraving, with similar hinged ring finial issuing from an escutcheon engraved with a crest, the front interior border of chest engraved ROBERT RUSSELL EXMOUTH , the back border later engraved D. Wintringham Stable Great Grandson of Robert Russell marked on bases, cover, sugar bowl handle, box mounts, box handle and escutcheon--box 14 1/2in. (36.9cm.) long
