A FINE PAIR OF DOUCAI MARRIAGE BOWLS JIAQING SEAL MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820) Each with deep rounded sides, the interior decorated with a medallion enclosing a pair of Mandarin ducks, one in flight, the other swimming in a pond with flowering lotus below a band of lanca script at the rim, the exterior with a continuous scene of three further pairs of ducks in a lotus pond below a band of scaly dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) diam. (2)
