A FINE PAIR OF SPANISH GOLD AND SILVER-DAMASCENED FORGED IRON BRULE-PARFUM VASES AND COVERS BY PLÁCIDO ZULOAGA EIBAR, LAST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY Each domed and spreading cover with bulbous knop, above reserves of foliage, an arabesque frieze, medallions and two running bands of pierced quatrefoils, the spreading body decorated all-over with foliage and arabesques and with a framed anthemion to each side, applied with a pair of double scrolled handles centred by a boss and terminating in anthemia, above a waisted stem and stepped circular spreading foot decorated with further arabesque ornament, the underside of each incised PZ 9 7/8 in. (25 cm.) high (2)
