A finely detailed and well constructed, fully planked and framed wood and brass model of the 37ft 6ins Rother Class lifeboat 'J. Reginald Corah', No. 37-31, built by N.W.B. Portlock - 17½ x 39¾ins (44.5 x 101cms) With signal mast and deck details including deck rails, cleats, Samson post, capstan, lifelines, hand-rails, whip and D.F. aerials, opening forward hatch, illuminated wheel house with detailed interior including wheel and binnacle, seats, radio and radar installation, switches, instruments and engine controls. Further details include glazed opening doors, windscreen wiper, navigation lights, tiller, lifebelts and other fine details. The hull is fitted with twin three-bladed propellers, lifting rudder, slipway skids, fenders, anchor and bow fender. Finished in R.N.L.I. livery with gilded lettering. Stand. See illustration
