A FRANCO-FLEMISH ASH, BIRCH, WALNUT AND EBONISED MARQUETRY BUREAU A GRADIN LIEGE, FIRST QUARTER 18TH CENTURY, RECONSTRUCTED IN THE LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY Inlaid overall with geometric motifs, the hinged top decorated with a star motif and fitted with a drawer and a cupboard above a hinged writing surface with a well and a removable sloped reading stand, the kneehole section with six drawers, on eight faceted tapering legs with moulded collars joined by shaped stretchers, with toupie feet, the drawers relined in beech 50 in. (127 cm.) high; 46 in. (117 cm.) wide; 30¾ in. (78 cm.) deep
