A French late 19th-Century pocket-sized medical set in fishskin-covered case, several instruments signed CHARRIERE , the case with red lining and fitted to contain six bottles with ground stoppers and handwritten paper content labels, horn lancet, glass dropper and other accessories -- 7.5 x 10cm. (6 7/8 x 3 7/8in.) ; a late 19th-Century black leather pocket wallet of veterinary instruments, with green velvet lining, stamped for maker ARNOLD & SONS, SMITHFIELD LONDON , the instruments with horn or tortoiseshell handles; a white-metal etui engraved on the lid Mortimer SURGEON containing four tortoiseshell lancets ( one damaged ), initialled on the shell B.M. ; and two trocars, one with lignum vitae handle, the other handle in horn (5)
