A George II inkstand on an oblong base with a reeded border and incurved corners, resting on pad feet, and fitted with a central, circular covered pot flanked by two smaller, baluster pots, (with lead liner) one with a single hole in the cover, for ink, the other pierced in the cover with a panel of crosslets engraved with an armorial and crests, by Samuel Courtauld I, 1751 - 26cm x 16cm, 30.5oz, (the stems on one side opened up).
