* A George II Mahogany Kettle Stand mid-18th century the triangular piecrust-molded top over a baluster and gadrooned standard, on cabriole legs with leaf and bellflower carving, terminating in scrolled toes. Height 24 1/2 x diameter 11 inches. Estimate $ 2,000-4,000 Property from the Collection of Dr. Eugene and Mrs. Vilhelmina Gedgaudas, North Oaks, Minnesota Provenance: Stair & Co. Ltd., London In overall good, stable, usable condition. Having fairly even finish throughout, some areas of rubbing and minor wear, more so to the legs and feet. Some glue residue to underside of tripod, bottom of standard with crack and repair. Legs do not appear repaired. Table sits evenly on floor, one foot with pad to underside.
