A George III mahogany tea caddy, circa 1760, of rectangular form, chequer strung overall, the hinged cavetto edged cover with a silvered metal swing handle and opening to three conforming subsidiary caddies within, with ivory keyhole surround, 17cm high, 26cm wide, 14cm deep Provenance: Purchased from Lewis & Lloyd, Reigate, 3rd June 1983. A copy of the original purchase receipt is available with this lot.
