Property of GentlemanA George III mahogany tilt-top dining table the single plank tilt-top with a reeded edge on a turned stem with four outswept legs terminating in brass cappings and castors, top and base associated70cm. high, 213cm. wide, 123cm. deep; 2ft. 3 1/2 in., 7ft., 4ft. 1/2 in.Condition ReportGenerally in good condition. The massive single plank of mahogany has a thin age crack across the middle and minor old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The tilt top mechanism works, however, the functionality is undermined by the fact that the top touches the floor before it can be locked in a fully upright position. Further, alterations to the block of the pedestal base and tilt-top mechanism indicate the top and base are associated. Condition 11 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
