A GEORGE III SILVER DISH-COVER MARK OF RICHARD COOKE LONDON, 1806 Circular with a part lobed lower border, engraved twice with the Royal arms with a label for difference within the Garter motto and with Royal duke's coronet above, further engraved with initials 'EA' over 'F', handle lacking, marked inside 9 in. (22.5 cm.) 35 oz. (1,077 gr.) The Royal arms are for Prince Ernst Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, later King of Hanover (1771-1851). The initials stand for 'Ernst Augustus Fidekommiss' - the entailed estate of Ernst Augustus.'
