A George IV batchelor teapot of compressed moulded circular form, on a rim foot and with an ivory scroll handle and domed hinged cover with circular finial, chased and embossed overall with rococo flowers, foliage and scalework and with two cartouches, one engraved with a monogram, the other with a slightly later date, maker's mark indistinct, London 1826 - 4in. (10cm.), 9.75oz. gross.
