A GEORGE JONES MAJOLICA STRAWBERRY-DISH of shaped oval form and moulded to imitated yellow wicker, constructed as an oval dish with a ropetwist rim, and with two pink wells fitted with two jars and spoons, the dish moulded in relief with large strawberry leaves issuing fruit and blossom, the jars with pink interiors and ropetwist handles, the spoons modelled as sprays of leaves bound with blue ribbon and one pierced (one jar with two hairline cracks to rim, the other with minute glaze chip to rim), impressed registration mark for 1868 9in. (23cm.) long
