A German silver-gilt and porcelain travelling necessaire Mark of Johann Engelbrecht, Augsburg, 1731-1733, the Meissen porcelain possibly associated Comprising: a silver-gilt table-spoon, fork and combination teaspoon and marrow-scoop chased with foliate scrolls on a matted ground; a knife and two pronged fork with steel blade and prongs, with ball finials, decorated en suite ; a shaped oval spice-box with hinged cover, interior divider and scroll thumbpiece, the cover chased with foliate scrolls on a matted ground; a double sided egg-cup similarly decorated; a silver-gilt mounted Meissen porcelain cup and saucer painted with chinoiserie figures, the cup with silver-gilt cover, part lobed with baluster finial and chased with scroll motifs, all in a red-leather case fitted and lined in green velvet, marked on spice-box, egg-cup, and flatware 8.2 cm. high (cup) gross 334 gr.
