A gold-cased fob seal FRENCH, NINETEENTH CENTURY With urn-shaped handle, the oval base with engraved bloodstone matrix -- 7/8in. (2.3cm.); two further gold-cased fob seals, each with simple beaded handles, each cornelian matrix with engraved male bust study, English, nineteenth century -- 3/4in. (2cm.) and smaller; and a gold-cased fob seal with scroll and strapwork handle, the domed base fluted above a stepped border, the citrine matrix with engraved crest and initial -- 1½in. (3.6cm.) (4)
