Comprising: 1) Helmet, kulah khud, with 5 inch top spike, skull with gilt inscription panels above the rim and pierced with circular inscription panels as is the finial of the adjustable nasal; spike, skull, nasal and plume sockets with gold overlaid scrollwork. 2) Shield, dhal, the domed circular shield with three broad pierced and gilt bands, the inner and outer with inscriptions, the central band with scrollwork. Diameter: 15 1/2 inches. 3) Armguard, bazu band, decorated en suite to helmet. 4) Axe, the 7 inch head pierced with scrollwork; socket with inscription, 4 inch poll and 5 inch top spike; steel haft with octagonal sections flanking a central spirally fluted section; the head and haft elaborately decorated with gold koftgari decoration. Condition: Excellent and showing some wear. See Illustration
