Possibly depicting Alexander the Great in the guise of the hero, portrayed beardless with long wavy hair, his head turned sharply to the right, his eyes with the pupils and irises incised, wearing the Nemean lionskin, the forepaws tied in a knot below his neck, its fur neatly incised 6 in. (15.2 cm.) high
