A Greek Terracotta Figure of a Goddess, Boeotian, circa mid 6th Century B.C. seated leaning back on a broad rectangular stool, and wearing a long embroidered dress decorated with zigzag lines, necklace with pomegranate pendant, and low polos with large volute in front, her applied tripartite coiffure falling onto the shoulders and the nape of the neck, the details painted in black and red. Height 6 1/2 in. 16.5 cm.
