EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 6TH-5TH CENTURY BC
A GREY-GREEN JADE CURVED DRAGON PENDANT EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 6TH-5TH CENTURY BC The head carved at one end with slit mouth facing the tail at the other end, the body carved on both sides with small detached scrolls interspersed with incised hair markings, the translucent stone with some dark russet markings from alteration; together with a jade bi , late Eastern Zhou dynasty, 3rd-2nd century BC, the pale grey-green jade now almost entirely opaque and of buff color, one side carved with comma spirals, the reverse with bosses within an hexagonal grid pattern; and two halves of a jade bi , late Eastern Zhou dynasty, both sides carved with a field of faceted bosses within an hexagonal grid pattern, each drilled with a suspension hole 3 5/16, 3 3/8 and 3 5/16 in. (8.5, 8.6 and 8.4 cm.) across (4)
