A group of Egyptian antiquities Second Intermediate Period - Late Period, circa 1700-332 B.C. Including a terracotta mould for a shabti with two columns of text down the front, inscribed for 'Iry-nefer, born to Wadjyt', 25th-26th Dynasty, circa 750-600 B.C., 41/8in (10.5cm) high, mounted; a turquoise glazed composition cartouche ring, inscribed for 'Wadjyt... the eye of the sun', Third Intermediate Period, circa 1069-702 B.C., 21/8in (5.4cm); a steatite plaque carved with the cartouche of Tuthmosis III on one side, a scarab flanked by two cobras on the reverse, New Kingdom, circa 1400 B.C., 28mm; three steatite scarabs, one large example carved on the underside with a man grasping the horns of an antelope, Second Intermediate Period, circa 1700-1550 B.C., 25mm, two with the cartouche of Tuthmosis III carved on the underside, one a minature example, 7mm, the other 20mm; a fragmentary green glazed composition amulet of Bastet, 23/8in (6cm), mounted; a fragmentary blue glazed composition amulet of a lion-headed goddess, 2¼in (5.7cm), mounted; a turquoise glazed composition udjat eye amulet, 11/8in (2.9cm); and another amulet, 27mm; a bronze fragment of a figure of Osiris, 3¾in (9.5cm) mounted; a bronze situla, 4½in (11.5cm); and three others, a shabti and two bronzes, Not Ancient (15)
