A. An illuminated document with three tughras and seal impressions of officials at the Sanctuary of the Prophet in Medina to Baygum Shah Jahan, Medina, dated 21 dhu'l-qa'da 1296/6th November 1879, Arabic manuscript on paper, 11 lines written in Ottoman chancery script in alternating gold and black ink, in mount, 385 x 227 mm. B. A document issued by the British to the Chief (ra'is) of Bhopal giving him the possession of the parganah of Bayirsiah [?] as a mark of gratitude for his services, dated 28th December 1860, Persian manuscript on paper, 12 lines written in nasta'liq script in black ink, large official stamp of the Government of British India (dated 1831), gold borders, in mount, 585 x 227 mm. C. A letter from Sultan Jahan Baygum of Bhopal thanking an unknown person for his letter of congratulations and the presents sent on her accession to the throne, dated 13th October 1902, Persian manuscript on paper, ornate headpiece and borders with floral and fish motifs, in mount, 632 x 233 mm. D. A document from Shah Jahan Baygum of Bhopal concerning 'Abdallah Khan carrying gifts, most probably to the shrine of the Imam 'Ali in Najaf, Persian manuscript on paper, headpiece and borders in colours and gold, incomplete, framed, 487 x 357 mm. E. An appendix to a document listing gifts with proof of payment, including English landscape paintings, more than 50 photographs of London and France, an ivory chair from the Judge 'Abd al-Qadir, and gifts from his wife, Peshawar, dated 22 ramadan 1301/16th July 1884, Persian manuscript on paper, headpiece and borders in colours and gold, seal impression of Qazi 'Abd al-Qadir, dated AH 1292/AD 1875-6, framed 497 x 343 mm.(5)
