A GROUP OF GEORGE III SILVER OLD ENGLISH PATTERN FLATWARE VARIOUS DATES AND MAKERS, ALL LONDON, 1783-99 Comprising: a pair of basting spoons by Richard Crossley, 1783, engraved with duck crest; another example by the same maker, 1798, engraved with the crest of Heron above the initials PH ; a soup ladle and a sauce ladle by Thomas Wallis (II), 1799, engraved with the crest of Widdrington ; a sauce ladle by Smith and Fearn, 1790; also fiddle pattern flatware comprising: a set of 10 dessert forks, Edinburgh, 1824, with crest of Cook above initials JC ; five table forks, London, 1833, with crest of Cook ; six table forks, by William Eaton, London, 1838, engraved with initials MFSB ; and six fiddle, thread and shell pattern dessert spoons by George Adams, London, 1861, with crest of Heron 70 oz.
