A group of lace, silk and fine cotton cushion covers, English, 18th century and later comprising of two small 19th century embroidered floral and butterfly cotton cushions and covers, one with an apricot silk underlay, one with white work embroidered initials A.B., (both 32cm. x 28cm.); two fine cotton and cutwork cushions, circa 1900, with Bedforshire insertion lace, cream underlay and lace edging (one 52cm. x 44cm., the other rectangular); with separate fine cotton and embroidered whitework cushion covers; two small cream lace (44cm. x 44cm; and 40cm. x 40cm.), one large cushion of cream silk worked with corner baskets of flowers and ribbon held medallions, with pale pink underlay (72cm. x 72cm.), and similar smaller cushion cover with inset trailing band of Valenciennes lace with floral sprigs; other cushions and covers include a square 18th century silk damask cushion worked with flowers on a cream ground, with later silk backing (51cm. x 41cm.); together with a mid 20th century rectangular patchwork silk cushion (67cm. x 24cm.); and three later 20th century cushions, one Chinese style (42cm. x 42cm.) with separate matching cushion cover, another cotton with stripped and floral bands (34cm. x 34cm.), and a printed folk style fabric with vase of flowers, and outer fringe (40cm. x 40cm.)
