A GROUP OF NEAR EASTERN BRONZE VESSELS AND BOWLS CIRCA LATE 2ND-1ST MILLENNIUM B.C. AND LATER Comprising a large jar with rounded body and wide flaring neck, the twin grooved handles attached with rivets at shoulder and rim, one handle surmounted by a stylized bird, 11 in. (28 cm.) high; three long-spouted pouring vessels, two with spherical bodies, another with shallow bowl on raised foot, each with long channelled spout attached with domed rivets, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high max.; a lotiform phiale with flaring rim, the exterior base with bud motifs between radiating petal lobes, the interior with central omphalos and chased rosette, 6 in. (15.3 cm.) diam.; another decorated with radiating pointed petals in shallow repoussé, 7 in. (17.8 cm.) diam.; and a bowl with multiple fine ribs around the body, a ring foot and upstanding rim, 6 7/8 in.
