A GROUP OF NEAR EASTERN BRONZES MAINLY 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C. AND LATER Including a figure of a stylized rider on the back of an ibex with curling horns and large circular recessed eyes, 2¾ in. (7 cm.) high; a figure of a mule with elongated neck and body, ridged neck to represent the mane, two high rounded pommels on his back, pierced through the shoulders, 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) long; a ram with curled horns, pierced through the centre, mounted, 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) long; an ibex with alert head, 1 7/8 in. (4.8 cm.) high; eight Bactrian(?) bronze attachments of rounded form with long triangular-shaped prongs, some with wood core remaining, circa 2000-1500 B.C., 4¾ in. (12 cm.) long max.; a pin with the terminal in the form of a hand holding out a flower, circa 2nd millennium B.C., 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) long; and an Islamic eagle terminal, standing with wings flattened across its back, mounted, 10th-11th Century A.D., 2¾ in. (7 cm.) high (20)
