A GROUP OF NEAR EASTERN BRONZES MAINLY 2ND-1ST MILLENNIUM B.C. AND LATER Including a figure of a standing ibex with tall ridged curving horns, a filled circular recess on the chest, 4¾ in. (12 cm.) high; a Luristan heavy cast bronze hinged bracelet, the top section decorated with stylized frogs and faces with long noses, 3 3/8 in. (8 cm.) diam.; a large Luristan penannular iron armlet or anklet with bronze flattened terminals with stylized twin lion masks, 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) diam.; a pin with seed head terminal; another with three conjoined ibex heads with tall twisted horns, 6 in. (15.2 cm.) long max.; a silver pin, the shaft decorated with bands of hatching and incised zigzags, 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) long; two kohl jars with associated animal headed pins, jars 3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) high max.; and a restored Luristan horsebit, each cheekpiece in the form of a mythical beast with prominent forelock, bell around its neck, 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) high (13)
