A GROUP OF NINE BRONZE FIGURAL FITTINGS, HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-AD 220) AND LATER
A GROUP OF NINE BRONZE FIGURAL FITTINGS, HAN DYNASTY (206 BC-AD 220) AND LATER comprising a bronze belt buckle in the form of a recumbent ram, its long horns joined to the body; an ornament cast with two small mirrored horses joined to the body atop a circle; a recumbent stag fitting, with twisted horns; further three smaller plaques similarly cast in the form of horn animals, each crouched on its legs; a bronze ornament in the form of two stylised raptor-head snakes coiled around a central boss forming a figure-eight; a plaque in the form of a two headed coiled snake forming a figure eight; and a further small pendant cast as a feline eating its prey -- The first, 1½in. (3.8cm.) high. (9)
