A group of nine shabtis comprising a turquoise green glazed composition shabti, the central column of hieroglyphs inscribed for Tja-i[ ]mu with priestly title -- 5in. (12.7cm.) high, Dynasty XXX (380-343B.C.) ; four others similar -- 5¼in. (13.2cm.) high max.; a pottery shabti, remains of glaze -- 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) high, all Late Period (712-332 B.C.) ; a pale glazed composition shabti of Horira, Overseer of the Antechamber, bearing seven lines of inscription from Chapter VI of the Book of the Dead, from Saqqara -- 6¼in. (15.9cm.) high, early Dynasty XXVI (664-525 B.C.) ; a wooden shabti of a scribe, single vertical column of hieroglyphs, with traces of red and blue paint around wig and upper body, feet missing -- 7½in. (19cm.) high, Dynasty XIX (1307-1196 B.C.) ; a bright blue glazed composition shabti of [Nes]-amen, with central column of hieroglyphs at the front, and details in darker glaze -- 4¾in.
