A group of plaster reproductions after Byzantine, Gothic and Renaissance models by the Schroth manufactory under the direction of Moriz Schroth circa 1900 some painted to simulate wood, ivory, gold, brass, semi-precious stones and leather comprising a Byzantine style triptych in imitation ivory with Jesus on the Cross inscribed "Wien, von Schroth, (nicht numerirt) byz. X rom.Epoche'", together with another triptych in imitation of ivory centred by the Madonna and Child inscribed in pencil on the reverse "No. 500 Schroth Wien. XIV Jh. Triptychon; Origl. aus Elfenbein”, together with a Madonna after Veith Stoss in plaster simulating boxwood inscribed “nach V. Stoss. 10 K / Schroth, Wien”, together with another Madonna and child in stained plaster stimulating bronze inscribed on the back "Wien, Schroth No 97", together with two reliefs of the Virgin and child in an arched frame, inscribed in pencil on the reverse "nach Lucca della Robbia Wien, Schroth, No. 172", and the other numbered 173, together with an oval relief of the Madonna after Veith Stoss inscribed "nach V. Stoss. 10 K/Scroth, Wien", together with two goblets in simulated gold together with one large Gothic communion cup in simulated bronze and semi-precious stones inscribed " 488, Schroth, Wien / Communion Kelch St. Peter in Salzburg, / XIII Jh.” together with a white plaster goblet in rococo style, inscribed `Kelch XVIIIh/Prag Seminar, together with two candlesticks one with a gecko and beasts the top inscribed “Schroth / No. 499 Im[itiert]/ Schroth Wien”, the other on paw feet inscribed "Schroth, Wien", together with four simulated book bindings including one based upon one from the 11thc. (Monastery of St. Paul in Carinthia), inscribed “No. 62, XI Jh.”; another in imitation of one from the end of 15thC., with 3 Nürnberger family crests and numbered “26”, another numbered 27, another in imitation of tooled leather together with three Gothic style reliefs in imitation of ivory depicting religious scenes and one in imitation of terracotta, together with a Gothic style diptych in imitation of ivory, together with a set of six plaster reliefs depicting scenes on the Parthenon frieze, late 19th/early 20th century (28) Various sizes
