A GROUP OF RUSSIAN SILVER AND NIELLO SPOONS AND OTHER ITEMS VARIOUS DATES AND MAKERS, 19TH CENTURY Comprising:- a caddy spoon, Moscow, c.1895; a small box with Cyrillic lettering on engine-turned ground, St. Petersburg, c.1890; a purse with trailing foliage on stippled ground, apparently unmarked, c.1880; a pair of silver-gilt lemon tea spoons with peasant man and woman finials , makers' mark only of P & F Markov, Moscow, c.1895; a set of 5 parcel-gilt silver and niello teaspoons, Moscow, 1881 with architectural views; another similar, Moscow, 1894; a similar set of 6 coffee spoons, Moscow, 1896; a set of 3 silver-gilt spoons with niello scrolling foliage to bowls, Moscow, 1852 and 3 other larger spoons, Moscow, 1854/1864 Largest spoon 7 5/8 in. long (19.5 cm.) 21 oz.
