A GROUP OF SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND JEWELLERY Comprising a necklace designed as a line of square-cut diamonds, enhanced by brilliant-cut diamond detail, suspending a fringe of graduated clusters of oval and cushion-shaped sapphires within brilliant-cut diamond surrounds, linked by tapered baguette and brilliant-cut diamond spacers, each with a pear-shaped diamond terminal, a bracelet en suite; together with a pair of ear pendants, the tops as clusters of pear-shaped and marquise-cut diamonds, suspending an oval-shaped sapphire in a similarly-set surround, mounted in gold, necklace and bracelet made in 1959, necklace 38.8 cm, bracelet 18.5 cm, earrings 5.2 cm Ear pendants signed Christ Accompanied by reports nos. 0912005 to 0912007 dated 15 December 2009 from the Gübelin GemLab stating that 14 sapphires are of Ceylon origin, 2 are of Basaltic origin and 3 are of not determinable origin; 14 sapphires show indications of heating and 5 show no indications of heating (3)
