A GROUP OF SIX VARIOUS BRASS, CAST IRON AND MARBLE MOUNTED SETS OF TABLE SCALES AND WEIGHTS LATE 19TH AND EARLY 20TH CENTURY Including; a late Victorian wrought iron and brass mounted scales with ceramic plate printed 'DAY & MILLARD PATNEEES BIRMINGHAM 1851 & 1862' with four weights from 8oz. to 4lbs; a set of brass scales with two weights stamped '£10 FIFTY PENNY'; a late Victorian cast iron table scales with brass dish and nine weights from 1/2 oz to 7lbs, some weights later. and another with an oak base with rubbed gilt stencilled name and nine brass weights from 4lbs to 1/4oz; and another example marked on the dial for 'MAKERS VANDOME & HART LTD LONDON' with five brass weights from 1lb. to 1oz. The tallest -- 32 ¼ in. (84 cm.) high
