Features octagon barrel with 30% remaining plating, smooth cylinder with patent dates is brown patina, traces of plating on brass frame, excellent two piece rosewood grips, seven shot, spur trigger and tip-up. Indexes perfectly. Very good bore. Comes in the gutta percha case that features an image of this same weapon. These are very fragile and this example is no exception. Has several poorly repaired cracks and one broken hinge. Original velvet lining. This box would benefit from a professional restoration as they are quite rare.
